On The Radio This Morning

Green world, love the chloroform. Front porch in the thunderstorm. Controlled chaos, confused energy. So stop reading the weather charts. Stop counting the playing cards. There's no system, there's no guarantee That the love you feel and carry inside can be passed. But you try, I know you do you still talk to your plans. Ask how are you getting on alone? Some wander the wilderness, some drink cosmopolitans. Some cold science, some glean astroplanes. I can't tell where the canvas stops, homesick as an astronaut. Just keep drifting, but still can't explain. How the love we feel we carry inside can be passed. See a brother in the gutter you reach out your hand. Ask how are you getting on alone? What gauge measures miracles? And whose heartbeat's electrical? We feign sickness with our modern joy. But even Western medicine, it couldn't save Danny Callahan. Bad bone marrow, a bald little boy. But the love he feels he carries inside can be passed. He lay still, his mot

Dr. Dog

Dr. Dog Dr. Dog is a psychedelic rock group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania which formed in 1999. The current lineup consists of Scott “Taxi” McMicken (vocals, guitar), Toby “Tables” Leaman (bass), Zach “Text” Miller (keyboards, guitar), Sukey “Thanks” Jumps (guitar) and Juston “Trouble” Stens (drums). r. Dog has been creating music in various incarnations for a good four years now. Beginning with The Psychedelic Swamp, a concept album realized in the damp ruin of a flooded basement with waterlogged guitars and a digital delay pedal, the band has simmered on the back burner of our musical lives for most of its existence but we’ve recently renewed our resolve to forge ahead and give Dr. Dog the attention we think it deserves. God, he called for rain So I built a ark, but no rain came I was ashamed Man, he called for war So I built a gun and I joined the corps But I was unsure Love, she asked for more But what I gave only made her poor I wasn't sure The dove, she promised land As she

Albert Hammond, Jr.

Albert Hammond, Jr. Albert Hammond, Jr. (born April 9, 1980, in Los Angeles) is a musician and member of the rock band The Strokes. The Strokes today are a successful band, arguably because of their ability to produce albums of great sound and lyrics while overcoming the ‘wealthy heirs’ stigma. Albert is usually seen playing an olympian white Fender Stratocaster, or bandmate Nick Valensi’s Les Paul Jr. He is usually associated with the “rhythm” guitar portion of the majority of Strokes songs, and most solos are played by Valensi. The solos in which Albert does play are Last Nite, Trying Your Luck, Take It Or Leave It, Under Control, The End Has No End, Ize Of The World, and Vision Of Division. His solos tend to focus largely on more emotional, “bluesy”-type melodical work, and the guitar tends to have a cleaner, softer tone in comparison to Valensi’s (with a noteable exception found in Vision Of Division). He often holds the guitar in a high horizontal position, similar to Bob Dylan an

New Keane

Keane are known for using a piano as their lead instrument instead of guitars, significantly differentiating them from most rock bands. The inclusion of a distorted piano effect since 2006 and various synthesizers are now a common feature in their music that nowadays combines the pure piano rock sound used during their first album and the alternative rock sound which developed during 2005. Acoustic and power ballads are also a highlight in the group’s music and have evolved into many fan favourite songs such as “On a Day Like Today” and “We Might As Well Be Strangers”. We're tumbling down We're spiralling Tied up to the ground We're spiralling When we fall in love We're just falling In love with ourselves We're spiralling Spiralling by Keane other songs: Somewhere Only We Know Everybody's Changing mp3 Bedshaped Crystal Ball Nothing in My Way
