Sounds Like These

Eric Hutchinson
With a dramatic folk voice and acoustic guitar or piano, Eric Hutchinson will win you over with his catchy songs and lyrics. A little similar to Jason Mraz, I recommend anyone to listen to him. If less manufactured music is your gig, then his album “…Before I Sold Out” will catch your fancy. His most recent album, “Sounds Like This” is full of catchy melodies and although no two songs are the same each has a distinct sound. Enjoy!
Riding the subway with the scent of her hair
She took out a toothbrush started using it there
She explained "I’m always sure today’s the day I will die
I wanna look good if I get to look God in the eye"
And I said "Oh!
Rock and Roll
Rock and Roll (acoustic)
Food Chain
Ok, Its Alright With Me
All Over Now

This is NOT just noise.

Desperate times call for desperate measures,
and desperate desires lead to desperate pleasures.
You know?
Oh yeah, you know don't you?
Oh god, you don't?
Oh no, you don't, do you?

Good God

You show me how to win him but I won't
Claiming that I'll do it but I don't
Knowing I'll do anything you want
Pretending that I am someone that I'm not

Dance Like There's no Tomorrow

All I wanna do is stay right here on the floor
Get lost in the night
And dance like there's no tomorrow
Don't care about the sunrise
Somebody please just hit the lights
All I wanna do is dance like there's no tomorrow.

Marie Digby

Marié Digby
Marié (pronounced mar-ee-ay) is an up-and-coming artist who resides in Los Angeles, California, United States. She has gained much popularity through her channel on YouTube and her airtime on Star 98.7 FM.

Marié Digby is a singer from Los Angeles, California. She was born April 16th, 1983 in New York and grew up in the LA.
Digby, had a normal childhood, but was always a little shy, feeling more comfortable hiding under the bleachers during high school football games than in front of a crowd. She started playing the piano in High School and began to secretly write songs, even hiding them from her family.

While a senior in high school, the timid and nervous Marié Digby signed up for a talent show. Although she was nervous to perform, she went on anyway and the audience loved it. This would be the first of many performances.

She began University of California at Berkely in 2002 as a philosophy major. She was on the three-day schedule (she took all her classes in three days) so she would have more time to play with the new band she had formed. She was performing all over the Los Angeles area, including places such as the infamous Whiskey a Go Go and The Troubadour.

Blast from the Past

Rooney is a five-piece indie band from Los Angeles signed to Geffen Records. The band is composed of Robert Schwartzman, Louie Stephens, Taylor Locke, Ned Brower, and Matthew Winter. The band is named after the character of “Principal Ed Rooney” in the 1986 film Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Their music is reminiscent of artists spanning from the sixties to the 2000s. Although they have a distinct style, their sound has been compared to everything from The Beatles to The Cars to Blur. Having toured the nation with acts such as Weezer and The Strokes, Rooney manages to capture elements from the past four decades and make them sound modern today.

Their Sleep Song was featured and played an important part in the movie The Chumscrubber’. PlayI’m Shakin’ was featured in the TV show The OC, when the characters go to see Rooney in concert.

On July 17, 2007 they released the album Calling The World. The album debuted #42 on The Billboard Top 100 Albums.

Rooney was also a band from Liverpool (UK) formed in 1997, that released three albums and various EP’s and split up in the early 00’s. Their music was inspired by fellow brits like Disco Inferno and Bark Psychosis, focusing on lo-fi narrative songs and imaginative drumming.
